About Lynn Housing Authority

Since 1948 the Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development (LHAND) has had a mission of assisting low and moderate-income families and individuals with safe,and affordable housing.

Our emphasis is on fostering economic independence and providing homeownership opportunities. The agency has continually changed and
since 1998 the LHAND has grown to include neighborhood services and administers programs on behalf of the office of Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy and the City of Lynn Massachusetts.

The LHAND continues to be committed to enhancing the quality of our community and building stronger, healthier neighborhoods by providing a wide range of neighborhood services and funding a variety of grant and loan programs that address the needs of renters, owners, homebuyers, and nonprofit housing providers.
